Overworld Obstacles |
|
Throughout the city there are a number of obstacles blocking your way or just in the background, sometimes even hiding an item. These obstacles can be removed by targeting them and using a Pokémon move on them, much like using HMs in the older Pokémon titles Each item has got a specific effect and can be cleared by using certain moves. These moves vary from item to item and often require a certain amount of power. This power is calculated based on your Pokémon's stats, the move in question and your Pokémon's level. For example, Scratch will not cut thorns but Slash will. There are several categories of moves that do this damage Some also require specific types to move as well. |
