Standard Pokémon

Mega Dragonite

English Name: Mega Dragonite
Jp. Name: Mega Kairyu

Type: Dragon/Flying-type
Classification: Dragon Pokémon
Height: 2.2m
Weight: 290kg

Details:
Mega Dragonite was revealed during the Pokémon Presents in July 2025.

Mega Dragonite has distinctive Dragonair-like features, such as a pearl on its tail and wings on its head that act as feelers. Thanks to Mega Evolution, Dragonite can now fly faster and farther than before.

For Mega Dragonite, ending a Pokémon match quickly is an act of kindness toward its opponent. Its kindhearted nature gets amplified when it Mega Evolves, and it launches powerful attacks at its opponent with a smile. At the same time, if it senses someone in trouble, it has the kindness to instantly rush to their aid—even if it's in the middle of an intense battle.

Mega Victreebel

Jp. Name: Mega Utsudon

Type: Grass/Poison-type
Classification: Flycatcher Pokémon
Height: 4.5m
Weight: 125.5kg

Details:
Mega Victreebel was revealed during a special trailer in August 2025.

Its body has swollen as a result of Mega Evolution. Even the leaves on top of its head have grown bigger. It flaps the leaves on its sides and moves its large body by bouncing around. It opens its large mouth to let loose a Sludge Bomb. It looks more like a Victreebel when it has deflated. It has so much acid that even closing its mouth tight isn't enough to hold it in, so it contains the acid by wrapping its own vines around its throat.

Mega Hawlucha

English Name: Mega Hawlucha
Jp. https://www.serebii.net/Name: Mega Luchabull

Type: Fighting/Flying-type
Classification: Wrestling Pokémon
Height: 1m
Weight: 25.5kg

Details:
Mega Hawlucha was revealed during a special trailer in August 2025.

It uses its muscles, bulked up by Mega Evolution, to take hit after hit from opponents' moves and flex its own strength. After luring its opponent into attacking, it retaliates to make them flinch before diving at them using its signature move, Flying Press, to aim for victory. Before Mega Evolving, Hawlucha would sometimes let its guard down as it became caught up in parading its flashy moves, but with newfound confidence in its own defensive capabilities, it can now show off again and again to both its opponent and its Trainer. It lifts both hands and spreads its wings, constantly putting its beauty and tough pectoral muscles on full display.

Mega Malamar

English Name: Mega Malamar
Jp. Name: Mega Calamanero

Type: Dark/Psychic-type
Classification: Overturning Pokémon
Height: 2.9m
Weight: 69.8kg

Details:
Mega Malamar was revealed during a special trailer in September 2025 following a weeklong campaign of "My Friend Malamar" across social media.

Malamar’s brain has become enlarged as a result of Mega Evolution. Greatly enhanced psychic power overflows from its body, emitting a bright glow. This vividly colored light further amplifies the Pokémon’s hypnotic abilities, allowing it to freely overwrite the personalities or even memories of others—a terrifying power that can make someone seem like an entirely different person. Its glowing, undulating tendrils are able to pick up on the feelings of those around it. It prefers battling with efficiency, using its powerful intellect to analyze the situation with levelheadedness as it fights. Mega Malamar views others—even Pokémon Trainers—as its pawns. If it disagrees with an order given to it by a Trainer, it will sometimes respond by hypnotizing them, making this an incredibly difficult Pokémon to interact with.
