Legendary Pokémon
Like past Pokémon games, there are a few Legendary Pokémon that you will obtain throughout the gameplay. This page details how to get each of the Legendary Pokémon.
Xerneas |
Location: Wild Zone 11 After completing the story, you will get informed by L of the two Legendary Pokémon and how they're seemingly on their way to Lumiose City, perhaps lured by the incident at Prism Tower. Go talk to Mable and she will mention that there are Anomalous Alpha Pokémon in Wild Zones 3, 5 & 9. Go defeat them and Mable will say Xerneas has been spotted and is concerned that it may set off the Tower again and asks for you to go catch it. It'll be in Wild Zone 11.

Yveltal |
Location: Rouge Sector 2 After completing the story, you will get informed by L of the two Legendary Pokémon and how they're seemingly on their way to Lumiose City. Talk to Vinnie and he will mention there is an object flying to Lumiose City that they think is Yveltal but he wants you to prepare and suggests running simulations against Rogue Mega Pokémon, specifically repeats of Rogue Mega Victreebel, Mega Hawlucha and Mega Tyranitar. These are all at a higher level. Defeat them and he will mention that it has been seen around Rouge Sector 2's Galerie de la Lune. It can be found on the roof

Zygarde |
Location: Wild Zone 20 After catching Xerneas and Yveltal, L will challenge you to a battle. Defeat him and Zygarde will appear and lure you to the Prism Tower. It will then challenge you to a battle in a style akin to Rogue Mega Evolution battles This battle has three phases. First is against 10% Zygarde, which has it just attacking with normal attacks. Second phase has it transform to 50% Forme Zygarde which will sometimes attack you with multiple successive Land's Wrath. Finally, after defeating 50% Forme, it will change form to Complete Forme. In addition to its usual moves, it'll do a massive Core Enforcer which takes up the majority of the field with small gaps in the shape of the gaps in the letter Z. It will also use Land's Wrath taking out the entire floor of the stage in waves going from the outside in. Defeat it, and you can throw a Poké Ball to catch Zygarde once and for all.

Diancie |
Location: Looker Bureau After you have received the Diancite, go to the Looker Bureau. When there, you can talk to Mimi and Emma will notice that Mimi is reacting to your Diancite and Mimi will leave. Your task is to follow Mimi. Eventually, Mimi leads you to a rooftop in Magenta Sector 8 filled with Mega Crystals. Soon after, two Carbink and a Diancie will appear and Emma suggests that you cath the Diancie.
After catching the Diancie, Emma will note it looks reminiscent of the Anistar Sundial and mention that AZ and Sycamore had a theory that Mega Evolution came to be when the Ultimate Weapon irradiated certain stones, and the reason why more Mega Evolutions have been discovered is because the Ultimate Weapon was fired again 5 years ago. Emma then mentions that AZ mentioned that while searching for Floette, he went to Hoenn and saw a phenomenon he believes was the start of Mega Evolution. |

Mewtwo |
Location: Lysandre Labs After you have received the Mewtwonite X and Mewtwonite Y from an event distribution, if you go to Lysandre Labs and go to B3F, the laboratory will reactivate. Mable will call and ask what is going on and say that as part of Team Flare's Project M, Mewtwo is there and tells you to catch it.

Heatran |
Location: Hyperspace Infernal Arena As you progress through the story of Mega Dimension, you will get taken to the Hyperspace Infernal Arena where you have to face a Rogue Mega Evolution Pokémon. This Pokémon is Heatran and you battle it as its Mega Evolved self. With this battle, it will unleash lots of magma, lava and so forth throughout the stage for you to dodge. After defeating it, you can catch it and will receive the Heatranite.

Darkrai |
Location: Hyperspace Newmoon Nightmare As you progress through the story of Mega Dimension, you will eventually need to make a Bad Dreams Cruller with Ansha in order to get to the distortion above Prism Tower. When you do, you get taken to the Newmoon Nightmare, a dream area where Darkrai is residing after having absorbed too much Mega energy when Prism Tower went awry. You have to battle it, first in its standard form and it will then Mega Evolve and you have to face it again. Our recommended Berry Recipe: 3* Hyper Tanga Berry. 3 * Hyper Kasib Berry, 1 * Hyper Coba Berry, 1 * Hyper Yache Berry After defeating it, you can catch it and will receive the Darkrainite.

Groudon |
Location: Hyperspace Desolate Land After defeating Darkrai, you will then work towards finding the Legendary Pokémon that Ansha has been searching for. By doing research for Corbeau, you will discover the Ruby and Sapphire Distortions which need to be opened. After getting the recipe from Corbeau and getting the Hoennian Salt, you will be able to make the Omega Donut which, in Jaune Sector 11, will open a portal to the Desolate Land where Groudon dwells. You will have to battle Groudon in its standard form, then the Red Orb will activate and you will have to defeat Primal Groudon. Water-type moves won't work on Primal Groudon. Our recommended Berry Recipe: 3* Hyper Colbur Berry. 2 * Hyper Coba Berry, 2 * Hyper Haban Berry, 1 * Hyper Tanga Berry After defeating it, you can catch it and will receive the Red Orb.

Kyogre |
Location: Hyperspace Primordial Sea After defeating Darkrai, you will then work towards finding the Legendary Pokémon that Ansha has been searching for. By doing research for Corbeau, you will discover the Ruby and Sapphire Distortions which need to be opened. After getting the recipe from Corbeau and getting the Hoennian Salt, you will be able to make the Alpha Donut which, in Wild Zone 5, will open a portal to the Primordial Sea where Kyogre dwells. You will have to battle Kyogre in its standard form, then the Blue Orb will activate and you will have to defeat Primal Kyogre. Our recommended Berry Recipe: 4* Hyper Colbur Berry. 2* Hyper Charti Berry, 1 * Hyper Coba Berry, 1* Hyper Haban Berry After defeating it, you can catch it and will receive the Blue Orb.

Rayquaza |
Location: Hyperspace Sky Pillar After defeating Groudon & Kyogre, you will have one final task; find Rayquaza for Ansha. However, the portal appears right above Hotel Z as a wish is needed for it to appear. When you've done more research for Corbeau, he will come up with the recipe for the Delta Donut. Make that for Ansha and you will be taken to the Sky Pillar where Rayquaza dwells. Our recommended Berry Recipe: 4* Hyper Colbur Berry. 1 * Hyper Haban Berry, 1 * Hyper Tanga Berry, 1 * Hyper Kasib Berry 1 * Hyper Chilan Berry You will have to battle it in both standard form and as Mega Rayquaza where it will have a protection of wind preventing some damage and remove Flying-type weaknesses. Catch it and show it to Ansha. She will eventually ask for you to look after Rayquaza for the time being.

Meltan |
Location: Rouge Sector 1 After defeating Rayquaza, a Side Mission will appear in Rogue Sector 1 where a trainer says that Meltan has appeared and asks for you to catch it because they're concerned it's going to do damage.

Melmetal |
Location: Hyperspace Lumiose After catching Meltan, a portal will appear into Hyperspace Lumiose. Follow oit through to an area where a load of Meltan and a Little Girl are. The girl asks if you like Meltan. If you say yes, she will be happy and next thing you know, the Meltan evolve into Melmetal. She then asks if you like Melmetal. Say yes and she will give it to you.

Magearna |
Location: Hyperspace Lumiose After defeating Rayquaza and helping Vinnie with a side mission, Jett will appear with a ball that she said she is trying to awaken. She asks for you to bring 999 Mega Shards. If you do, she asks Vinnie to make a Magearnite Mega Stone and asks for you to activate it. If you do, Magearna will awaken from its slumber and will join you. You will get its Mega Stone.

Hoopa |
Location: Hyperspace Lumiose After defeating Rayquaza, you can go to Hotel Z and Taunie/Urbain will be there and mention they found a Prison Bottle in AZ's room. Ansha & Hoopa react to it but Corbeau soon calls and says a distortion has opened up and suggests you go there. When you arrive, you will find a Hoopa Unbound there. Battle and defeat it and you will be able to change its form to Hoopa Confined and it will then join you

Location: Pokémon Research Lab After defeating Rayquaza, a task will appear with Mable and she will mention how she found a Poké Ball that has been hacked, with the Poké Ball holding Volcanion. She believes she can open the Poké Ball but in doing so, she thinks Volcanion will be angry and attack. She sends you to aa secluded room to battle Volcanion, allowing you to catch it

Genesect |
Location: Hyperspace Lumiose After defeating Rayquaza, the man who sells TMs in exchange for Mega Shards in Vert Sector 7 will start offering genesect's drives for 540 Mega Shards each. If you purchase all four of them, you can ask him for some intel where he will point you to Wild Zone 13. Interact with the wall and a distortion will appear. Go in it and you will find Genesect

Marshadow |
Location: North Boulevard After defeating Rayquaza, one of the members of the Lumiose Safety Group will appear in North Boulevard and say about how there is a Hex Maniac Channel spreading things about a ghost child and asks you to investigate it. He gives the task of "At the hour when the grandest shadow's tip pierces the center of the circle of red and white... "they who dare thrust their fist toward the earth may find a ghostly child creeping near. Go to the training court in Rogue Sector 1 and wait for Prism Tower's shadow to intersect the Poké Ball in it. When it does, interact with the ground and Marshadow will appear. You get asked to catch it to prove the story right

Zeraora |
Location: South Boulevard When you have beaten Rayquaza, caught Diancie & Mewtwo and done some Side Missions, a boy will appear on the roof of Vert Sector 3 and will trade various items. If you trade him a Canari Bread, he will give you the Popping Candy. Take this Candy to Ansha and she will be curious and try it. With this, she gets an idea for a Donut which needs 40 Sweet Points, 200 Spicy, 400 Sour, 280 Bitter and 40 Fresh. Our recommended Berry Recipe: 4* Hyper Kasib Berry. 3 * Hyper chilan Berry, 1 * Hyper Babiri Berry Make that donut with her and you get the Plasma Donut. Immediately, Emma phones and says a Hyperspace portal has appeared outside of the train station. Go there and you will see the portal in the screen.Corbeau will call and inform you of the portal and send Korrina to come help. With her and Emma, you have to go into Hyperspace where you face Rogue Mega Zeraora. It will attack by releasing Electrowebs throughout the stage and will often use Plasma Fists. First to send three out in various directions, and after 50% it will send them out at a zigzag through the stage and others swirling around. Defeat it and you can catch Zeraora.

Scanned Hyperspace
Latias, Latios, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Keldeo, Meloetta |
Location: Hyperspace Lumiose After defeating Rayquaza, you will be able to get a task from Corbeau about Special Scans. With these, once you have earned 25,000 points in Hyperspace Lumiose, you can get Philippe to scan. Inside these pockets of Hyperspace when it's an Unknown Zone are Legendary Pokémon When you are within the area, you will have the ability to find a Legendary Pokémon. Latias, Latios, Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion can be shiny. Keldeo & Meloetta cannot.
