In a Side Mission within Hyperspace Lumiose, you will find a man sitting on a bench who gives you an Important Letter. Take this important Letter to Moire at the Academie Etoile. She remembrs that you helped find her ring before and asks where you got the letter. She says she needs to go to Racine Construction instantly.

Go with her and she will tell you that the letter said that the letter is from her departed husband who said that he left his ring with Tarragon. She asks if Tarragon remembers this, and he does and provides the ring as he was to repair it after he met her husband at a restaurant. He gives the ring back but insists on a battle with you first.
