A feature, first introduced within Pokémon Battle Revolution, returns once again. However this time there are fewer character customisation options

When you start the game, unlike the previous Pokémon games, you will have the ability to pick your character as one of four different ones for each gender. These trainers have similar builds and costumes as you begin, but they vary in original hair colour and skin tone. The choice cannot be changed once selected so be sure to make the right choice when you begin. This includes hair colour and eye colour, which also is not able to be changed in these games |

Clothing |

The Metronome Style Shop can be found in Veilstone City. This place is the only place you can change your character's clothing and purchase clothing. All the clothing you can purchase comes in one set without the ability to mix and match The clothing can also temporarily be changed in Super Contests, including an exclusive outfit you can only use in Contests. |
