Hidden Moves

HMs were a common thing in Pokémon games since the originals that helped to gate progression and unlock new areas as you played through the game but got replaced with Pokémon Sun & Moon. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl brings them back but with a twist, you don't need your Pokémon to learn the move in order to get it. Instead, you get access to the Hidden Move through your Pokétch when you get the TM for that move. It will then be usable from the Pokétch or by interacting with relevant obstacles
