Gyms

Like with most Pokémon games, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl have multiple gyms spread across the region. These gyms each have a focused type with the Pokémon or their moves focusing around that type. Defeating them allows for you to progress towards the next gym.

This page is to detail all the gyms, and the Gym Leaders and their Pokémon.

Gym 1: Oreburgh City - Roark

Location: Oreburgh City
Gym Leader: Roark
Specialty: Rock-type
Reward: Coal Badge, TM76, Roark's Stickers

The first gym is in Oreburgh City. After fetching Roark from Oreburgh Mine, you will be able to face the gym. This gym has no special puzzle but rather just a couple of trainers that you can bypass over bridges. At the end, you'll face Roark who uses Rock-type Pokémon. Defeat him for the Coal Badge, 5 TM76 (Stealth Rock) and the Stickers that he uses on his Pokémon. The Coal Badge allows for use of Rock Smash in the overworld through the Pokétch
