This event is a rewards event to commemorate the trainers who participate in local Earth Day clean up events on April 13th through 28th. If enough players participate, then there are many rewards
If 2000 attend, there will be an increased appearance of Ground-type Pokémon.
If 5,000 attend, then there will be an increased appearance of Ground-type Pokémon and shiny Diglett will become available
If 7,000 attend, then will be an increased appearance of Ground-type Pokémon, Shiny Diglett, 2* Catch Stardust & Candy for Event spawns and Groudon will return to raids.
On April 29th, it was confirmed that over 7,000 people attended an event and triggered the full rewards.
