Marks

Marks on Pokémon

Marks make a return after their introduction in Pokémon Sword & Shield. These marks are like Ribbons in that they are attached to various Pokémon to show some of the unique things it has done or where it was caught.

While Pokémon Scarlet & Violet has the Ribbons which are attached when a Pokémon is caught, there are also now Marks that will be added to Pokémon as you achieve certain tasks.

In addition to that, there's a special Meal Power, the Title Power, which increases the chance of you getting a Mark on a Pokémon. Each Title Power adds an extra roll onto each of the Wild Marks. It does not affect any marks that are obtained through other means such as the Itemfinder Mark

Like Ribbons, you can have a specific Mark set as the main feature and with that, it will give your Pokémon a special title when it is sent into battle.

If the Marks are boosted through Special Events like Mass Outbreak Events, they get a flat rate chance before then rolling the standard rates. These boosted chances are unaffected by Title Power

The Mark Charm was reintroduced in The Indigo Disk which gives an additional 2 extra rolls for the wild mark at all times, in addition to any Title Power bonus given
