The Way Home

After completing the stories, you can go to the lab at The Great Crater of Paldea. When you getthere, Arven will be waiting for you and will enter with you. As you enter, Nemona and Penny both arrive with Penny acticvating the lab. Sada/Turo will call recognising all four of you and suggest you need to go down into Area Zero on Koraidon/Miraidon to help her solve the problem.

When arriving at Area Zero, Sada/Turo will say you need to get into the Zero Lab at the botom but to do that, there are four locks that need to be unlocked at the different Research stations. They are all found as you go down the cliffs but when you approach the first, you will get attacked by a wild Glimmora.

As you approach Research Station 2, you will see a familiar looking Pokémon. However, when it attacks you will learn that it's not the familiar Pokémon you would expect. Defefeat it and you'll get into the Station where you learn that Sada/Turo have been bringing Ancient/Future Pokémon in through time and Arven will give you the Scarlet/Violet book.

As you approach Research Station 3, you will start to see more of these Pokémon in the wild which you will be able to capture, but before you get there, you will encounter the Pokémon you fought in Asado Desert. Defeat it with Arven and unlock the next gate

As you approach Research Station 4 you will start to see even more Pokémon in the cave, and when you get into the station things will start going wrong with the Professor. Unlock the gate and go to the Zero Lab and you'll get warned that opening the lab will result in lots of wild Pokémon from other times will come through, but before you enter, the other Koraidon/Miraidon will appear while yours doesn't want to battle it. Unlock the door and Koraidon/Miraidon will go in but lots of Pokémon will come out. With each of your friends, defeat the Pokémon.

Once defeated, you will enter the lab and find Sada/Turo slumped down on a chair. You will discover that they are in fact an AI created by the Professors as the Professors had passed a long time ago protecting Koraidon/Miraidon and soon decided to plan to get the time machine set up by the professors stopped in order to stop these Pokémon from causing problems in Paldea.

The Professors say that they will tell you what to do and the book is the key to stopping the time machine, but they are programmed to stop you at all costs, requiring you to battle them, with them using Pokémon they got through the time machine.

If defeated, the AI will go into a special security protection mode and lock everyone's Poké Balls other than ones registered by Sada/Turo. They will challenge you with Koraidon/Miraidon but as you all can't use your Poké Balls, you struggle to battle until you realise that you can bring Koraidon/Miraidon out and finally use them in battle. It will change form and you can battle against the AI

Once defeated, everyone will congratulate you on a job well done while Arven laments on the passing of his parent, though deep down he always knew. The four of you return to Paldea and go to celebrate.
