Mochi Mayhem

When you have got the Mythical Pecha Berry, go to Peachy's in Mossui Town and interact with the unusual plush in the shop. This will cause the storyline to start as the plush starts to move briefly. As you investigate, Arven will call you and ask if he could come over to your house in Cabo Poco.

After the call ends, turn around and you will find that the mysterious plush has gone.

At Cabo Poco, you will find Arven who has also brought Penny and Nemona with him, claiming they overheard but were uninvited and decided to tag along as well. Go into your house and your mother will provide various snacks and everyone will be happy. Next, a letter will arrive from Kieran who asks for you to come to Kitakami, and bring some friends from Paldea, so you can have a catch up after the incident in Area Zero. Nemona, Penny and Arven are excited to go so decide to meet outside Mesagoza.

With permission given from her father, Penny joins in and you all go to Kitakami.

Arrive at Mossui Town and you will all get greeted by the caretaker who says about how rooms have been made for everyone. Head to Kieran's house and they will meet eachother with Nemona excited to battle Kieran as he was the Champion at the Blueberry Academy. The two will head off to outside the community centre and battle.

When you go there, you will learn that Nemona defeated Kieran and it's time to reassure him. However, soon afterwards Carmine randomly appears and starts dancing while saying about mochi. Kieran mentions she has been acting strangely lately and there's rumblings of a curse going around.

At the Community Center at night, Nemona, Penny, Arven and Kieran talk about what to do for the night. Nemona goes off to Peachy's to get some supplies while the rest of you find the Remote Control to ther TV. Once found, Kieran realises Nemona hasn't come back so suggests going to look for her, with Arven and Penny staying behind in case she returns.

Go outside and there is no sign of Nemona, but there's two villagers there. Go to ask if they've seen her and they also start dancing mysteriously and singing about Mochi. They quickly challenge you to a battle which is done in a multi battle with Kieran alongside.

Defeat them and you spot Nemona heading towards Kitakami Hall.

Outside Kitakami Hall, Kieran's grandparents can be found. Kieran asks if they've seen Nemona and his Grandpa thinks he did see her go by, but his grandma starts offering mochi to his grandpa. Grandpa thinks it sudden but if she insists, so has one and then starts joining in and dancing while talking about mochi. A battle soon foolows

After defeating them, you'll get a call from Arven about strange goings on back in Mossui Town.

Return to Mossui Town and Arven apologises for hanging up on you and Penny insists she saw something strange. Arven will soon point to something up above, the mysterious plush that was at Peachy's. It soon opens up and throws four mochi. Arven and Penny eat them while you and Kieran manage to dodge it. Arven and Penny then join the others in the mochi dance and then challenge you to battles.

Defeat them and the mysterious Pokémon will soon run off. Kieran will try to stop it and chase after it as it goes towards Loyalty Plaza.

Go to Loyalty Plaza and you will find Nemona is there with the mysterious Pokémon. However, Nemona's nature pushes through and she insists on a battle. The rest of the villagers, alongside Arven and Penny soon also show up. Kieran says he will hold them off while you battle with Nemona.

After defeating Nemona, the Pokémon will be confused and will await your challenge. It will be able to be battled, with an increase in its Hit Points in the standard boss battle.

If you bring Ogerpon to this battle, you will get a special reaction from it as it is sent out. A different reaction, this time from Pecharunt, will come if you send out Munkidori, Fezandipiti or Okidogi.

After capturing Pecharunt, the villagers, Carmine, Arven, Nemona and Penny will all return to normal.

The next day, Kieran and Carmine will greet the four of you outside the community centre and thank you for your help. Nemona, Arven and Penny will thank them for a lovely trip and say they enjoyed their time in Kitakami. Kieran will mention that he has decided to return to the Blueberry Academy and will return with Carmine.

Following completion, you are able to invite Nemona, Arven and Penny as Coaches to the League Club, allowing you to battle them and trade with them. Kieran and Carmine will also appear in the League Club at random times to battle and trade.
