The Pokémon Company have announced the next Japanese Trading Card Game set for Japan. This is the eigth TCG set, Fusion Arts, and is due for release on September 24th 2021 and features a new Battle Style to go alongside Single Strike and Rapid Strike: FUSION.

First Day & Night version of a new area in the Florio Island Nature Park - Secret Side Path - The NEO-ONE shrinks to a tiny size when you explore this area, so the Pokémon you see will look gigantic! You can even hear their breathing and footsteps in this thrilling area, and you might spot new kinds of behavior from Pokémon you’ve seen before.
There is a River, both Day & Night, that will contain a variety of Pokémon - Mightywide River - Mightywide River is a nurturing water source that provides the whole of Belusylva Island with sustenance. You’ll be conducting research as you ride down the river, so be on the lookout for rapids as you search for Pokémon, and keep your camera ready so you don’t miss capturing them in action.
There's a new wilderness and canyon stage, both Day & Night variants - Barren Wilderness - In this area, you’ll research the badlands of Voluca Island, where dry winds from the desert blow. This area has many peculiar features, from geysers to poisonous, gas-spewing swamps. Pokémon may be hiding underground or in the rocky cliffs, so keep your eyes peeled for them while you’re on your expedition.

This was done by utilising changes in the stat after using Held Items that were based on the Special Attack. There's a margin of error so we have included the calculated range. A new distribution has been announced for Pokémon Sword & Shield. To coincide with a Korean tournament streaming on August 7th, the Pokémon Trainers Cup 2021, a Porygon-Z based on the one used by Jeong Sang-yoon, the winner of last year's tournament will be distributed by shared code to players. This Porygon-Z is Level 50, holds a Silk Scarf, has the Adaptability ability, Timid nature, and has the moves Hyper Beam, Thunderbolt, Dark Pulse and Nasty Plot. We will provide the code when it comes so be sure to keep checking back. We have updated the Event Database with details of this event

From August 9th, you'll get Battle Points from the Champion Stadium Master Mode
The final story will run from July 30th
A solo event also beings on July 30th featuring Scouts of Lear & Hoopa, as well as Rachel & Umbreon and Sawyer & Honchkrow. The event is Lear Takes the Lead
A new Daily Rotation event will run of Type Rotations focused on specific types. This runs from August 5th
Falkner & Swellow also start to appear in the game from August 5th in a scout
The run up to 2 Year Celebration begins August 12th ans introduces Max Moves, which players can use once per battle
Legendary Event Howling Shield of Eternity runs from August 12th and gives Hop & Zamazenta
Threee Legendary Events will return at the same time: New World Dilemma, Give and Take and Father or Foe
Blissful Bonanza will return, as will Legendary Arena Cresselia

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day on August 14th and 15th will focus on Eevee. This event will 25% Egg Distance and has 3 Hour Incense & 3 Hour Lure Modules. However, it will also give out special moves to each Eevelution which will run from 17:00 UTC August 13th to 17:00 UTC August 16th. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research "What You Choose to Be" and there will be Timed Research to gain Mossy Lure Module and Glacial Lure Module, as well as Eevee only needing 7 hearts to evolve into Sylveon.
The Community Day runs at 11am to 5pm in each local time zone

The Players Cup III livestream schedule has been announced. The Regional Finals will be broadcast on July 17th - 18th from 18:00 UTC and the Global Finals on July 30th - August 1st at 18:00 UTC. VGC, TCG and Pokkén Tournament DX will all be streamed during these weekends on separate channels but the finals on April 25th will all be on the main Twitch channel. Players will be able to do 6 Special Trades a day from July 16th at 20:00 UTC to July 19th at 06:00 UTC
Pikachu with a Meloetta hat will be in the wild on both days, with its shiny variant
On the 17th, Galarian Ponyta & Zigzagoon will appear in raids with Meloetta hats, and have a chance to be shiny. Deino will also be in 1 star raids
Galarian Weezing, Hitmontop and Cranidos will be in 3 star raids on July 17th
Gardevoir will learn Synchronoise when evolved or caught during the event hours
Flygon will learn Earth Power when evolved or caught during the event hours
Pikachu Rock Star or Pikachu Pop Star will be available via GO Snapshot Photobomb on July 17th after completing your research depending on which path you take in the Special Research
Gardevoir in a Meloetta hat or Flygon in a Meloetta hat will be available via GO Snapshot Photobomb on July 18th after completing your research depending on which path you take in the Special Research. They will also appear in Special Research and be attracted to Incense. The other Pokémon will also spawn in Incense during the event but will not have the hat if they weren't chosen
Players will receive a special pose depending on which path they take: Pikachu Rock Star or Pikachu Pop Star
GO Fest avatar items will be available starting 18:00 UTC on July 16th including Whismur, Loudred and Exploud Shirts, face stickers and a guitar case backpack
A Meloetta shirt will be available in the Special Research
Everyone will also receive a free GO Fest 2021 Shirt avatar item from 18:00 UTC on July 6th
There will be Ultra Unlocks through a Global Challenge Arena. Starting at 20:00 UTC on July 16th, the habitats will rotate globally and a challenge will be running allowing all trainers to work together to complete the challenge. If they do, a bonus will run for the rest of the hour.
If 8 Challenges are completed, the Ultra Unlock Part 1: Time event will be unlocked. This event runs from July 23rd at 10:00 local time to August 3rd at 20:00 local time and features Pokémon from various eras
If 16 Challenges are completed, the Ultra Unlock Part 2: Space event will be unlocked. This event runs from August 6th at 10:00 local time to August 17th at 20:00 local time and features Pokémon from various places
if 24 Challenges are completed, the Ultra Unlock Part 3: ??? event will be unlocked. This event runs from August 20th at 10:00 local time to August 31st at 20:00 local time and features some abnormal events. More detials on the Ultra Unlocks will come at a later point

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is the 5th Anniversary Event and is due to run from July 6th from 10:00 to July 15th at 20:00 local time. It introduces Shiny Darumaka to to the game
Darumaka and Flying Pikachu will be appearing more frequently in the wild
Darumaka, Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie and Pikachu will be in 1 Star Raids
All starters will be attracted to Lure Modules and in special Field Research. They will also be in bonus daily Field Research and Bulbsaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott will be available in the wild
There will be a Collection Challenge giving a reward of a Flying Pikachu as well as a Rare Candy and Poké Balls
Meltan will have a chance of being Shiny if Mystery Box is activated during this event
The Jump-Start Research will return again for anyone who has yet to get it
There will be fifth-anniversary Gift stickers from PokéStops and Gifts
Lure Modules will last an hour during this event
Fireworks will be happening every night in the sky in-game during this event. The new sky feature and Pokédex categories will also be live for all players in the coming days
Item Bag expansion will be abilable from 20:00 UTC today, bringing max value up to 3,500
The Special, Ultra and Adventure Boxes will contain different items from 20:00 UTC.

Today, we are covering a Pokémon introduced in the seventh generation. At the end of its life-span, Melmetal will rust and fall apart. The small shards left behind will eventually be reborn as Meltan. Centrifugal force is behind the punches of Melmetal's heavy hex-nut arms. Melmetal is said to deliver the strongest punches of all Pokémon. In a distant land, there are legends about a cyclopean giant. In fact, the giant was a Melmetal that was flooded with Gigantamax energy. It can send electric beams streaking out from the hole in its belly. Today marks the Pokémon GO Community Day. On this day, for six hours in each region, Tepig will appear, enmass, in Pokémon GO with a chance of Shiny Tepig appearing. During this event, when you evolve Pignite into Emboar, it will know the move Blast Burn, which is exclusive to this event. This coincides with 3* Catch Stardust and 3 hour Incense.

A distribution has been announced for Pokémon Sword & Shield. During the livestream for the Video Game portion of the Pokémon Japan Championships 2021 on Sunday, July 18th, a special code to receive a distribution of a Torkoal will be given. This Torkoal is based on the Torkoal used by the winner of the Pokémon Japan No. 1 Final Battle in 2020. It has the moves Burning Jealousy, Body Press, Yawn and Protect and holds a Sitrus Berry. We'll provide the code as soon as it is available

Pokémon TCG - Skyscraping Perfect & Blue Sky Stream
he Pokémon Company have officially revealed all the standard cards the next set for the Pokémon Sword & Shield TCG.This is the seventh TCG set and comes in two sets: Skyscraping Perfect and Blue Sky Stream and are out next week July 9th 2021 and feature the return of Dragon-type cards, this time with no Weakness or Resistance.
As such, our card listing and the associated Cardex have been updated with the details of this set with thanks to ToineLay for help with translation.

The next online competition has been announced. This competition, the Water Paradise is a Single Battle competition that allows for you to run Water-type Pokémon only. All players who enter get 50 BP

Pokémon Sword & Shield - VGC Ruleset
The Pokémon Company have announced the Series 10 ruleset, which will begin on August 1st 2021 through to October 31st. This ruleset includes a return to the ruleset that was active for Series 8. It allows for Pokémon in the Galar Pokédex, Isle of Armor Pokédex and now Pokémon in The Crown Tundra Pokédex, including other Pokémon not in the dex such as some Legendary Pokémon and 1 Restricted Legendary Pokémon per team. It also bans Dynamax. All Pokémon must have a Galar symbole or the Battle Ready Symbol.

Pokémon Sword & Shield - VGC Ruleset
Ranked Battle Series 9/Season 20 is now live. This ruleset returns to the inability of using any Restricted Pokémon. This will run from July 1st at 04:00 UTC to July 31st at 23:59 UTC. Be sure to check out our section for full details and Pokémon restrictions.
With this, the eighteenth season of Pokémon Sword & Shield's Ranked Battle has come to an end and with it, the rewards for participation in battles is now live. To get them, you need to check your ranking in the Ranked Battle mode and then go to Mystery Gift > Receive via Battle Stadium. These rewards include BP and items range from Armorite Ore up to Bottle Caps depending upon your placement.

The Pokémon GO Bidoof Day is now rolling out globally. From 10:00 local time until 20:00 local time, Bidoof will be spawning in very high amounts, as well as being in all forms of Raid Battles. Alongside this, some Special Research is now available for all players with branching options and Bidoof Cup is now available in GO Battle League, which only allows use of Bidoof.
