The Global Challenge II competition is the second of three competitions that use the standard VGC ruleset.
This competition will allow for players in Japan and Korea to earn placement for their National Championships to then win a place towards the 2023 Pokémon World Championships. The top 150 players in Japan will receive an invite to the qualifiers in May. It will also offer Championship Points to players who reside in countries and are enrolled in the Play! PokĂ©mon circuit
