Today is Day 1 of the Pokémon North America International Championships 2023. Today features battles for four of the games in the current Play! Pokémon Circuit: TCG, GO, UNITE and Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. All three games will be streamed in individual streams

Pokémon UNITE - Mewtwo Release
It has been announced that Mewtwo will be released in Pokémon UNITE on July 21st. There will be two different UNITE Licences for Mewtwo, one for Mega Mewtwo Y and another for Mega Mewtwo X. Mega Mewtwo X will run on July 21st while Mega Mewtwo Y will run from Mid August
Alongside this, a new battle mode will be announced with a new map where you team up with other players to battle against various computer controlled Pokémon including the addition of Paldean Tauros, Flamigo and Bellibolt as opposing Pokémon

A new celebration has been announced for Universal Studios Japan for Halloween. Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Battle Weekend. This Weekend will focus on Clay and run from July 1st at 00:00 local time to July 2nd 23:59 local time
During this event, you will get a totall of 100 battles a day and get 4* Stardust from wins.
There will also be free Timed Research to get a Clay Style Hat
A paid Timed Research will also be available that will give players 30,000 stardust, 1 Star Piece, 3 Rare Candy and 3 Rare Candy XL

The second Pasio Special Stadium event is now live in Pokémon Masters EX. This event acts like the Champion Stadium but with a mix of Elite Four members and Champions, with the first being against Champion Marnie, with the ability to battle again to earn Points and Rewards if you add more challenging restrictions to the matches
A Poké Fair Scout is also now live in the game to get players a chance to get N & Black Kyurem. The scout runs until July 11th

Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres will be in 5 star raids from July 6th through 13th with Mega Blastoise in Mega Raids
Regieleki will be in 5 star raids from July 13th through 25th with Mega Blaziken in Mega Raids
Regidrago will be in 5 star raids from July 25th through August 4th with Mega Tyranitar in Mega Raids

Tickets are now available to purchase for international fans attending the event on the Official Website. They cost 3000¥ and proceeds to go the Pokémon With You Charity.
A livestream of the concert will air of the concert on YouTube at the same time for players who can't make the event

Alolan Marowak, Flareon, Umbreon and Turtonator will be in 3 Star Raids
Heatran will be in 5 Star Raids and will have the move Magma Storm
There will be 25% more experience and 3 more candy for completing raids
There will be Branched Timed Research which has you choose between Fire or Dark-type Pokémon to earn a Premium battle Pass, 15,000 Experience and Encounters with event Pokémon. It also determines the Pokémon that spawn in Incense

It will appear in Mega Raids throughout the Host City but only ticketed players will get Mega Energy until Global event.
All trainers will get Special Research in GO Fest Global on August 27th to get a Meteorite with ticketed players getting longer Research with more rewards and another Meteorite
When Mega Evolved, Flying, Psychic and Dragon-type moves will do even more damage and those types of Pokémon will give increased Candy and experience when caught

Niantic have announced that as an apology for the issues with Uxie, Mespirit and Azelf raids recently, a special raid event will be held on June 11th from 11am to 5pm local time where the legendary for your region will appear more in raids. all players who used Remote Raids for these Pokemon from June 1st through 5th will have them returned and will have them gifted to them. In addition to that, all players will be able to do 15 Remote Raids each day throughout the weekend

Pokémon UNITE has received a small update which adds a variety of things to the game.
First, the Pokémon Leafeon is now available to purchase in the in-game store. We're currently compiling full details for Leafeon in our Pokémon section for the game.
Some new Holowear has been made available as well; the Checkered Style for Leafeon
This update also adds a few changes. First it introduces a Prize Machine where you can throw Poké Balls at various items for a chance to win them. The items change each day and you have a 12 hour cooldown on the use of balls, but it can be paid in gems to reduce it

The PC and mobile game, Pokémon Trading Card Game Live has now officially left beta and is now fully released globally. This app allows for you to play the Pokémon TCG with other players, increasing your collection with code cards from packs of the Pokémon TCG, or by crafting with in-game currencies. It has currently launched with the Paldea Evolved set and has added a new Battle Pass to go with it

A new set of episode titles have been released by Animage for the upcoming anime series. These titles are for the eleventh and twelfth episodes of the series and is set to air on June 16th and 23rd respectively.
The first episode has Liko & Roy go to a forest where Brassius said he encountered the shiny Rayquaza only to find the forest has been hit by a wildfire. The second episode has Liko & Roy decide to try and bring the forest back to life for the sake of the wild Pokémon that live there, only for Liko's pendant to start to shine...

Niantic have announced some more details for Pokémon GO Fest 2023 and have confirmed that Diancie, Carbink, Pikachu wearing an Amethyst Crown and Aerodactyl wearing a Satchel will be added to the game with these events
Diancie will appear in Special Research for all ticketed players in London, Osaka and New York, as well as Global Ticket holders, with Carbink also appearing in Field Research
At GO Fest London & GO Fest Osaka there will be the Dark Jungle, Fairy Garden, Hypnotic Glacier and Volcanic Island habitats. Heracross, Seviper, Dewpider and Pumpkaboo will appear in Dark Jungle, Cacnea, Petilil, Spritzee and Dedenne in Fairy Garden, Galarian Mr. Mime, Snorlax, Snowy Castform and Elgyem in Hypnotic Glacier, Aerodactyl wearing a satchel, Surskit, Lucario and Durant in the Volcanic Island with Pikachu wearing an Amythest Crown, and Sigilyph spawning in the wild in all habitats
At GO Fest New York, there will be the Prehistoric Volcano, Poison Swamp, Cursed Treasures and Athletic Field habitats. Prehistoric Volcano has Aerodactyl, Darumaka, Archen and Axew spawning. Poison Swamp has Skorupi, Venipede, Skrelp and Noibat spawning in the wild. Cursed Treasures has Sableye, Chiemcho, Yamask and Golett spawning. Athletic Field will feature Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Hitmontop and Makuhita
At GO Fest Global there are four habitats which rotate hourly
On Saturday, Quartz Terrarium features Pikachu in a quartz crown, Heracross, East Sea Shellos and Buneary. Pyrite Sands features Pikachu wearing a Pyrite Crown, Trapinch, Gible and Joltik, Malachite Wilderness features Pikachu in a Malachite Crown, Roselia and Oranguru and Aquamarine Shores features Pikachu in a Aquamarine Crown, Marill, West Sea Shellos and Goomy. These spawn for all players
Ticketed players will get extra Incense spawns including Unown D, I A, M, O, N and ! spawn in all habitats, with Hisuian Growlithe in Quartz Terrarium, Pawniard in Pyrite Sands, Carnivine in Malachite Wilderness and Pachirisu in Aquamarine Shores
On Sunday all spawns will happen at the same time
Ticketed players will also have 6 Special Trades, increased Shiny Chance and up to 9 free Raid Passes from spinning Gyms
GO Fest Osaka and London will introduce Shiny Petilil and Dewpider into the game
GO Fest New York introduces Shiny Skrelp and Golett into the game
GO Fest Global will add Shiny Goomy, Shiny Shellos, Shiny Joltik and Shiny Oranguru to the game
If you purchase a GO Fest Global ticket by July 5th, you will receive Timed Research to get Carbink

The values will be 10, 20 or 30 depending on how many Mewtwo raids were completed by the players

After being live for 11 years of play, going back to the HeartGold & SoulSilver era, the PC and tablet game, Pokémon Trading Card Game Online has now closed its servers and has been delisted from all app stores. This is in advance of the global launch of its successor, Pokémon Trading Card Game Live, which is currently in beta and due to have a full launch on Thursday, June 8th 2023.
Players will still be able to migrate their Pokémon Trading Card Game Online data and collections to Pokémon Trading Card Game Live until notified otherwise through the Pokémon TCG Live app settings when logged in, and all code cards for products will still work on Pokémon Trading Card Game Live

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Ranked Battle Regulation D has been officially announced. This Regulation Ruleset will run from July 1st 2023 through to September 30th 2023 and adds the ability to use any Pokémon available in Scarlet & Violet including Alola Forms, Galarian Forms, Hisuian Forms and sub-legendary Pokémon. Restricted Legendary Pokémon and Mythical Pokémon are still banned, alongside Walking Wake and Iron Leaves. Pokémon can be used from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and transferred through Pokémon HOME

The Pokémon Company have announced the Spectator Badge situation for Pokémon World Championships in Yokohama Japan this August will be done via a lottery system. Starting today until June 7th at 06:59 UTC, you can register your interest for a Spectator Badge and after that, those who are selected will be given a link to register their badges within 72 hours of getting the email. Each pass costs 2000 yen and you can buy up to 2 badges at a time
