The Pokémon Company International have also officially revealed the next set, Pitch Black. This set will be released in July 17th 2026 and features a variety of Pokémon and mega Evolutions introduced in Pokémon Legends: Z-A including Mega Darkrai, Mega Excadill, Mega Zeraora and Mega Chandelure.
This set contains over 115 cards, 20 trainer cards and 35 Pokémon or Trainer Cards with special illustrations

There will be a special LEGO themed Stamp Rally during the event. Collect 5 stamps to get encounters with Pikachu with a background

It has been confirmed that Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y will be introduced into Pokémon GO. These Pokémon will have unique Mega Energy, Mewtwo Mega Energy X and Mewtwo Mega Energy Y and will be obtained in Super Mega Raids during the event
In the live events in Tokyo, Chicago and Copenhagen, you will get Timed Research that branches with an encounter with Mega Mewtwo X or Y which are already unlocked for Mega Evolution. You will also be ale to face them at the end of your park session
In GO Fest Global they will be available in Super Mega Raid Battles. Mewtwo from Mega Mewtwo X raidds will know Counter and Mewtwo from Mega Mewtwo Y raids will have Psystrike
With this update, Mega Charizard will have its Mega Energy split and you will get specific Mega Charizard X Energy or Mega Charizard Y Energy from Mega Raids.

This patch fixes a variety of issues including the description of Leech Seed, the gender of Gallade in the Tutorial, Unnerve not working against Pokémon with some abilities, changes in speed caused by hold items not showing in the order of abilities and a problem where the player was unable to select a move when they move the cursor over Mega Evolution

After finding an issue with it earlier this month, Pokémon HOME has now resolved the issue that was happening with Friend Trades on the mobile version of the game. which ran from April 10th at 14:00 UTC through to April 11th at 05:00 UTC. Friend Trades are now able to be completed again. If you were affected by the bug which caused some Pokémon to duplicate and others to disappear, then you need to contact Customer Support and they will work to resolve it.

There will also be a collage of Ditto stickers to commemorate Pokémon Pokopia. There will also be a quiz on a tablet which will provide a Pokémon set just for you and will ask for you to sign to the newsletter. The next Pokémon GO event has been announced. This is the Spring Marathon event and is due to run May 12th at 10:00 to March 18th at 20:00 local time and adds Flittle, Espathra and Marathon Visor Pikachu into the game
This event has an Event Pass that gives 2* PokéStop Experience on Tier 1 (or *3 if Deluxe) and 50% Incubator distance at Tier 2
Pichu in a flower crown, Togepi in a flower crown, Happiny in a flower crown and Flittle will be in 5km Eggs
There will be Field Research to get encounters with Pokémon including Eevee with Cherry Blossoms and Buneary in a flower crown
There will be free Timed Research to get 21,000 XP and an encounter with Pikachu in a visor

Pokémon Café ReMix has begun the next event. This event is the Graceful Milotic event and focuses on Milotic, offering another chance to get it in the game. Tickets are now available for the UK Pokémon Night Out event. This event is taking place at the O2 Arena in London, UK on November 10th and features an EDM concert of Marshmello, supported by Alison Wonderland which features Pokémon visuals and more. Pokémon TCG Pocket has announced a coming change to the game. Starting with the B3 set onwards, ou will get special animations and rewards for completing Pokémon your card dex such as emblems. With this, Emblem tickets and Dex Missions will be discontinued. Dex missions and emblem tickets for prior sets will also be removed at this time, and you will be able to get the Emblems by obtaining a certain amount of cards in the set
Cosmetic items that were obtained with Shop Tickets will also no longer be available in the shop but rather will be given when you get 40 cards in your card dex for an expansion

Tickets go on sale on April 17th via Ticketmaster for the Los Angeles event and AXS for the London event

The newest Raid Day is rolling out in Pokémon GO. For three hours in each region, Pokémon in fashionable outfits will appear in Raids on each Gym in the area
With this, you will get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms and can participate in up to 20 Remote Raid a day. You will also have a higher chance of finding shiny Raikou after completion of the raid.

The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the Mighty Serperior event and is the latest in the series of weekly Starter Pokémon Tera Raid Battle reruns. This event has Serperior appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Grass Tera Type. As with all past 7 Star Raid events, players can only catch one Serperior from raids per save file

The Pokémon XP and Pokémon World Championships Interest List is now live. This list will give all people a chance to be able to get a ticket for entry to the events at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California from August 28th through August 30th 2026
The Interest List is open until April 24th at 06:59 UTC and people who are selected will be informed via email after it closes. A multiday ticket will cost $120, or $150 with Arena access on Sunday

Pokémon HOME - Pokémon Legends: Z-A Update
The Pokémon HOME Version 4.0.0 update is now starting to roll out on Switch and mobile. This update is allowing players in within a staggered process to ease server load, with The Pokémon Company saying it can roll out up to 06:00 UTC tomorrow, April 3rd.
It introduces connectivity with Pokémon Legends: Z-A, allowing for the Lumiose, Hyperspace and Mega Evolution Pokédexes to be registered with the Pokémon in the game
It also introduces Latin American Spanish as a language option and offers a one time opportunity to change your overall language in the app.
We have updated the Depositable Pokémon List to show all Pokémon that can be deposited now, alongside the general Pokémon Listing

With the new Pokémon HOME update that adds Pokémon Legends: Z-A Connectivity, a new variant of a Mega Evolution is now available to obtain in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. If you put an Original Color Magearna into Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you will be able to get this variant which has a slightly different colour, replacing the dark gray colouring on Mega Magearna with white. It also has its own Pokédex entry

Pokémon Legends: Z-A's Ranked Battle Season 9 has begun. This season is the eighth for the Z-A Battle Club and features battles to get rewards by earning points in the battle. This season runs a ruleset where no Mythical or Restricted Pokémon can be used. This season will run until April 23rd at 05:59 UTC
Players who reach Rank Y to S will get the prior Mega Stones from Ranked Battle.

It has been confirmed that Pokémon HOME is to undergo maintenance on Thursday April 2nd at 00:00 UTC until Thursday April 2nd at 12:00 UTC. This maintenance will coincide with both the Switch and mobile version of the app being updated to 4.0.0. This update adds connectivity for Pokémon Legends Z-A and Pokémon Champions ahead of its launch next week
When the maintenance ends, access may come in a staggered rollout for players

As part of Pokémon's 30th anniversary celebrations, The Pokémon Company have worked with Apple Music to create a playlist, the Pokémon Collection which features a variety of classic Pokémon tracks from the library on Apple Music
The English version features tracks from the Pokémon anime's history including the original theme, the Pokémon Horizons theme "Becoming me" and the Pokémon Journeys theme "The Journey Starts Today" as well as music from the Pokémon World Championships
The Japanese version features tracks from the Japanese Pokémon anime's history such as MEzase Pokémon Master all the way up to the recent songs, as well as tracks from various movies, Pokémon Music Collection and Project Voltage
