The Isle of Armor

The Isle of Armor is the first Expansion Pass. The areas here include beaches, forests, caves and dunes with many Pokémon. It has a dojo run by the trainer Mustard and you will face new rivals including Klara in Sword and Avery in Shield.

This Expansion also adds new Tutor Moves, allows for Apricorns to be made into Poké Balls and introduces the Exp. Charm which increases the experience points your team receives.

Max Soup
Max Soup is a new feature in the game. When you create Max Soup, if you give it to a Pokémon with the potential, it will be able to Gigantamax. This is how the Gigantamax Starter Pokémon are available

Cram-o-matic
The Cram-o-matic is a device that lets you put multiple items into it. With the items added, it has the ability to create various other items.

Move Tutor
In the Isle of Armor, you will find Armorite Ore. You'll be able to exchange this ore in order to get various different new moves

The Dojo contains Restricted Sparring provides specific battles that restrict the Pokémon that you can use and various new conditions.

In the Isle of Armor, there are 10 diffent areas with various looks. There are The Towers of Two Fists including the Tower of Darkness and the Tower of Water. You gain access to it after training your Kubfu and the one you defeat determines the form of Urshifu your Kubfu evolves into.

Shell Side Arm 10 90 100 This move inflicts physical or special damage, whichever will be more effective. This may also poison the target.
Misty Explosion 5 100 100 The user attacks everything around it and faints upon using this move. This move's power is increased on Misty Terrain.
Grassy Glide 20 70 100 Gliding on the ground, the user attacks the target. This move always goes first on Grassy Terrain.
Rising Voltage 20 70 100 The user attacks with electric voltage rising from the ground. This move's power doubles when the target is on Electric Terrain.
Terrain Pulse 10 50 100 The user utilizes the power of the terrain to attack. This move's type and power changes depending on the terrain when it's used.
Skitter Smack 10 70 90 The user skitters behind the target to attack. This also lowers the target's Sp. Atk stat.
Burning Jealousy 5 70 100 The user attacks with energy from jealousy. This leaves all opposing Pokémon that have had their stats boosted during the turn with a burn.
Lash Out 5 75 100 The user lashes out to vent its frustration toward the target. If the user's stats were lowered during this turn, the power of this move is doubled.

Lunar Blessing 10 -- 101 The user heals its own status conditions and restores its HP. Incoming moves also become more likely to miss.
Take Heart 10 -- 101 The user lifts its spirits, healing its own status conditions and raising its offensive and defensive stats.
G-Max Wildfire 10 -- 101 A Fire-type attack that Gigantamax Charizard use. This move continues to deal damage to opponents for four turns.

New Items

Picture Name Description
Max Honey Honey that Dynamax Vespiquen produces. Adding this honey to Max Soup makes the taste very smooth. It also has the same effect as a Max Revive.
Max Mushrooms Mushrooms that have the power of changing Dynamax forms. They boost all stats of a Pokémon during battle.
Galarica Twig A twig from a species of tree called Galarica that grows in certain areas around the Galar region. It’s a material for an accessory for a certain Pokémon.
Galarica Cuff A cuff made from woven-together Galarica Twigs. Giving it to Galarian Slowpoke makes the Pokémon very happy.
Style Card A card that increases the selection in boutiques and hair salons.
Armor Pass A pass to go to the Isle of Armor. Show it to the rail staff at Wedgehurst Station.
Rotom Bike White This bike can do a turbo boost and run on the water using Rotom’s power. It’s a sparkling white that shines brilliantly.
Rotom Bike Black This bike can do a turbo boost and run on the water using Rotom’s power. It’s a glistening black that shines reddish-black.
Exp. Charm A charm that increases the Exp. Points that Pokémon can get. A machine-like object is inside the charm.
Armorite Ore Rare ore that can be obtained on the Isle of Armor. Something good will happen if you give it to a collector on the Isle of Armor.
Mark Charm A mysterious and unique charm that increases the chance of finding a Pokémon with a mark.
