Niantic have added some new features to the medals for Pokémon Showcases in the game. Now, as you get the Medals, you will get various rewards includign Pikachu Ph.D. Glasses for Bronze, Pikachu Ph. D. Headband for Silver, a pose for Gold and most notably, an encounter with Pikachu Ph. D when you get the Platinum medal at 100 Showcases.

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day on March 16th will focus on Litten. This event will 3* Catch Experience, 2* Catch Candy and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
It will also give out the moves Blast Burn & Darkest Lariat to Incineroar. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research .
The Community Day runs at 2pm to 5pm in each local time zone

The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the Mighty Venusaur event. This event has Venusaur appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Ground Tera Type. As with all past 7 Star Raid events, players can only catch one Venusaur from raids per save file
This event runs until March 5th at 23:59 UTC as part of a two and a half week Kanto Starter celebration for Pokémon Day

Pikachu, Voltorb, Plusle, Minun, Emolga and Pawmi will be in the wild
There will be paid Timed Research that will challenge you to complete Field Research to gin more encounters with the Pokémon

A paid ticket will be available at the start of the season to give Avatar Items, Pokémon Encounters and seasonal Timed Research
Hisuian Sneasel, Furfrou, Goomy, Sandygast, Jangmo-o and Dubwool will be the Research Breakthrough encounters
You will get increased experience for defeating 1 and 3 Star Raid Battles, and get an additional free Raid Pass each day from Gyms

It has been confirmed that the Pokémon Dedenne is to come to Pokémon Sleep on March 11th. This Pokémon will be available in Lapis Lakeside. Alongside its addition, a new skill will go live, Tasty Chance S, that increases the chance of a dish being extra tasty
Ahead of this, a new event is to run from March 11th through March 17th, Electric-type Week. This event will increase the spawns of Electric-type Pokémon and guarantee a Pokémon will appear hungry in the event that week. It will also have the Mini Candy Boost where your Pokémon will get twice the experience in exchange for four times the Dream Shards

First, the Pokémon Miraidon is now available to purchase, and its Tuxedo Style Holowear is now available to purchase in the shop for 1,050 Gems with animation for Movement. We're currently compiling full details for Miraidon in our Pokémon section for the game.
Alongside this, the new Holowear Effect Spray item has been added which adds an additional visual effect to Holowear
A Balance Patch has also gone live for a variety of Pokémon. Our section has been adjusted accordingly

Pokémon Masters EX has announced some coming new features to the game. First is the new Photo Creator where you can select up to three Sync Pairs and adjust them to create a photo to put on your profile, as well as search for others based on the photos
Titles are coming to the game, being added for display in Profiles. These can be earned through events, based on your player rank or number of days logged in, as well as other features. Secret Titles will also be available
You will be able to Like players photos. New missions will be added to commemorate
You will now be able to stock two Lucky Skills on each Sync Pair in addition to the equipped one, allowing for you to switch between them as needed as many times as you want
Sync Grids are being altered with a change in the Energy Cap. Based on the Sync Pair's move level, it can be raised by up to 10 giving you access to more tiles for the Sync Pairs. This is done by using Co-op Sync Orbs

Registration for the next Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Online Competition has begun. This competition is the Global Challenge 2024 II and features Double Battles in standard VGC rules
Registration is open from 00:00 UTC until February 29th at 23:59 UTC while battles run from 00:00 UTC on March 1st through 3rd.
This competition also gives 100,000 League Points, an Ability Patch and a Gold Bottle Cap to all players who complete 3 or more battles
Players enrolled in the Play! Pokémon Circuit will also receive Championship Points based on where they finish and players in Japan and Korea can earn a place in their national qualifiers

Pokémon European International Championships
Some new details have been released for the European International Championships that run from April 5th to 7th in London UK. Like last year, it has been confirmed that there will be a pop-up Pokémon Center on-site during the competition. The OPokémon Center will run from April 4th through April 6th at 10am to 8pm and April 7th from 10am to 4pm. Entry to the store requires a reservation. The Pokémon Center store only accepts debit and credit cards.
The Pokémon TCG Play Lab will make a return with the addition of a VGC EUIC Battle Leab which teaches two different parts of the main series games
Registration for players will begin in two waves at 19:00 UTC on February 22nd and 09:00 UTC on February 23rd. Spectator passes will also go live at 19:00 UTC on February 22nd

The Pokémon GO Raid Day is rolling out globally. For three hours in each region, Hisuian Decidueye will appear in Raids on each Gym in the area, adding Hisuian Decidueye into the game. With this, you will get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms and can participate in up to 20 Remote Raid a day. All Raid Battles will have an increased chance of giving a shiny Decidueye
A paid ticket is also available that gives increased experience as well as another 8 additional free Raid Passes from Gyms as well as extra Experience and rewards from the raids.
