The next 7 Star Tera Raid Battle event has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This event will feature a battle against an Empoleon with the Ice Tera Type and the Mightiest Mark. It can only be caught once per save file.
This event will run from 00:00 UTC on February 2nd through 23:59 UTC on February 4th and again from February 9th through February 11th. During the second run of the event, Blissey will return again with Tera Shard Rewards alongside Empoleon

Pokémon Masters EX has pushed the new update which covers the events and data for the next month. Alongside this a new Developer Letter has been announced confirming some new features
First, Wally will be added to the Trainer Lodge
Starting January 31st, a new Time Trial event will be live which adds the Sync Pair of Chase & Pikachu, with an event to get Poké Kid Petey and Pikachu to follow on February 2nd
At the end of February, a new Profil feature will go live in the game allowing you to take photos with your favourite Sync Pairs
A new mode, Battle Rally is to come starting January 31st. Here you battle through strong trainers and have to exchange items to help you proceed. The better you do, the more Rally Points you gain and the more Points you have, the better the rewards including Vouchers for EX Role Coins

This competition also gives 100,000 League Points, an Ability Patch and a Gold Bottle Cap to all players who complete 3 or more battles

There will be two paid Tickets during this event.
The first, Raids, provides Timed Research around Raids that give 10 Dialga Candy, 10 Palkia Candy, 5 Heatran Candy XL, 5 Giratina Candy XL, 5 Cresselia Candy XL, 5 Darkrai Candy XL, Eevee Fan Mask as well as 5,000 extra experience from raids, 1 extra candy and 2 more Raid Passes each day
The second, Hatch, provies Egg related Timed Research as well as research featuring Pachirisu, Chatot and Carnivine as well as a Pikachu Fan Mask, 2* Hatch Experience, 2* Hatch Candy and 2* Hatch Stardust
Turtwig, Grotle, Chimchar, Monferno, Piplup and Prinplup will spawn in the wild

Registration is open from 00:00 UTC on January 25th until February 1st at 23:59 UTC while battles run from 00:00 UTC on February 2nd through 23:59 UTC on February 4th.
This competition also gives 100,000 League Points, a Gold Bottle Cap and an Ability Patch to all players who complete 3 or more battles
Players in Japan and Korea can use this competition in order to earn a place in the qualifiers for their National competitions to then try to battle for a place in this year's Pokémon World Championships and players outside can earn Championship Points based on their positioning

First, a new feature which will increase the Pokémon's energy when you feed Snorlax with the increase being higher the lower the energy of the Pokémon
There will be 2 new Sleep Style Goals
A new Ingredient will be available, Greengrass Corn
There will be 7 new Recipes
Your Pokémon will now still pick up ingredients even if your ingredient pocket is full
You can sory by Energy on the cooking screen
Various bugs will also be addressed:
An issue where the Pokémon's Energy will not be reduced when you help while measuring sleep. This will now be rectified
An issue where berries obtained increase by mistake
An issue where you can cook more than 4 times a day
An issue where Main Skills activate more than possible when you do certain functions
An issue where reported sleep won't appear in the weekly summary
The Helper Whistle will be adjusted so that Helping Bonus and Good Camp Ticket boosts are not applied

The Pokémon GO Raid Day is rolling out globally. For three hours in each region, Hisuian Typhlosion will appear in Raids on each Gym in the area, adding Hisuian Typhlosion into the game. With this, you will get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms and can participate in up to 20 Remote Raid a day. All Raid Battles will have an increased chance of giving a shiny Typhlosion
A paid ticket is also available that gives increased experience as well as another 8 additional free Raid Passes from Gyms as well as extra Experience and rewards from the raids.

Throh and Sawk willappear in all regions

Snubbull, Houndour, Pancham and Mareanie are in 1 Star Raids

Niantic have announced that Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia will be available in Pokémon GO starting with Pokémon GO Tour. These Pokémon will have special Adventure Effects if they have the right move and the right amount of Stardust and species candy
Dialga if it has Roar of Time has an Adventure Effect that can pause the timer for Incense, Daily Adventure Incense, Lucky Eggs and Star Pieces for 6 minute increments. They will update in increments of two hours and you can boost up to 24 hours
If Palkia has Spacial Rend, its Adventure Effect will distort space for 10 minutes and allows for you to encounter wild Pokémon at a longer distance for 10 minutes, and can be extended in increments of 10 minutes, again up to 24 hours
In GO Tour Sinnoh Global, the version of the game you choose will decide which Pokémon you get with which effect, and you can only have that one
Origin Forme Dialga & Palkia cannot be transferred to Pokémon HOME
As you play in the Los Angeles gameplay, each hour there will be Space-time Anomalies to add Hisui Pokémon to each of the habitats. It will last for the last 30 minutes of each hour
White-Striped Basculin will appear during Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh - Global when you do routes. It will also be unable to evolve at that time
Rotom will appear through a special secret code to get an encounter. Once trainers there can decipher it, trainers worldwide can redeem it too
Shiny Hisuian Voltorb and Hisuian Qwilfish will also be added with the event

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
The Pokémon Company have announced the qualifying circuit for the Pokémon World Championships for Japan this year. As with past years, there will be several online competitions globally which will serve as qualifiers for the main tournament. From there, a special online competition will run for those players and the Top 64 will be given a place in the Japan Championships on June 1st and 2nd
The first competitions run from February 2nd through 4th, March 1st through 3rd and March 29th through 31st with the special invite only competition for the Top 150 players in each of those running on April 21st
The online competitions will run Regulation F rulesets while the live competition in June will run the currently unannounced Regulation G ruleset

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day on February 4th will focus on Chansey. This event will 25% Egg Distance, 2* Catch Candy and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
Happiny will be found in 2km Eggs
It will also give out the move Wild Charge to Blissey. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research .
The Community Day runs at 2pm to 5pm in each local time zone

Pokémon Sleep
Pokémon Sleep has confirmed that a new island, Lapis Lakeside, will be available in-game from January 24th at 15:00 local time. This area will include Pokémon such as Dratini, Ralts and Stuffull.
To unlock it, you will need to have found 240 Sleep Styles.
Dratini, Dragonair and Dragonite will appear with Drowsy sleep, Ralts, Kirlia and Gardevoir with Snoozing Sleep and Stufful, Bewear and Gallade with Slumbering Sleep. Snorlax's favourite Berries on the island are Cheri Berry Mago Berry and Durin Berry

A two week long event has been announced for Pokémon Sleep. From January 29th through February 12th, this event will allow for players to get Ralts, Dratini and Stufful on Greengrass Isle. During the event, there will also be missons to get Dratini Incense, Stufful Incense and Ralts Incense

The next 7 Star Tera Raid Battle event has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This event will feature a battle against a Blaziken with the Flying Tera Type and the Mightiest Mark. It can only be caught once per save file.
This event will run from 00:00 UTC on January 12th through 23:59 UTC on January 14th and again from January 19th through January 21st
Alongside the second run, Blissey returns to 5 Star Tera Raid Battles with Candy and Tera Shard rewards

It has been confirmed that the Pokémon TV app is to sunset on March 28th 2024. Starting today, you will be unable to download the app from the APP Store, Google Play Store, Amazon Store, Nintendo eShop or Pokemon.com. Until March 28th, you will still be able to watch content on it but after March 28th you will be unable to. You will also be unable to log in after January 15th to access history between devices.
Currently no details have been given for the reason why beyond exploring new ways to make it even easier to access the content

A new wave of the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Hidden Treasure of Area Zero icons is now live for Nintendo Switch Online Subscribers. This allows for players to purchase icons and borders to use as their icons. Wave 4 includes multiple new icon parts including Bloodmoon Ursaluna, Sinistcha, Briar and Perrin, alongside the return of Ogerpon, Miraidon, Koraidon and more. A new issue has been discovered with Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, specifically for the move Dragon Cheer. At present, after using the move if you switch the Pokémon out and the Pokémon comes back in to battle, it'll still have the boosted Critical Hit rate, which is unintended behaviour. After the Version 3.0.1 patch due out later this month, this will be resolved and the effect will be lost if you switch out the Pokémon

Registration for the next Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Online Competition has begun. This competition is the Blueberry Prologue and features Double Battles using only Pokémon that are in the Blueberry Pokédex
Registration is open from 00:00 UTC on January 4th - 14th at 23:59 UTC while battles run from 00:00 UTC on January 12th - 14th.
This competition also gives 10,000 League Points to all players who complete 3 or more battles

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Ranked Battle Season 14 has begun. This season is the first season that runs Regulation F ruleset which allows for use of Pokémon and moves added in The Indigo Disk, as well as returning Pokémon. This season will run until January 31st at 23:59 UTC
Alongside this, as Season 13 is now over, the rewards are able to be collected for all players

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is the Dazzling Dream event and is due to run from January 13th at 10:00 to January 16th at 10:00 local time and adds Shiny Cutiefly & Ribombee into the game
There will be 2* Catch Stardust and Hatch Stardust
Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Marill, Snubbull, Cottonnee, Flabébé, Spritzee, Swirlix, Dedenne, Cutiefly, Morelull and Togetic will spawn in the wild
Togepi, Spritzee, Swirlix and Cutiefly will be in 7km Eggs. Cutiefly will have a higher Shiny Chance when in Eggs than in the wild
Alolan Vu;pix, Spritzee, Swirlix, Cutiefly, Mawile and Carbink will be in Field Research
A Collection Challenge will run to get Experience, Stardust and a Carbink encounter
There will be Paid Timed Research to earn 2 Premium Battle Passes, Experience, Stardust, 2 Star Pieces and encounters with event themed Pokémon
There will be a Cutiefly Mask item available in the shop for your player character

From now on, if you have obtained Volkner & Steelix already, you have the ability to invite Volkner into the Trainer Lodge and befriend her. If you get the Friendship Level to 100, you will now be able to get the new Sync Pair, Volkner & Raichu. We have updated our Trainer Lodge Topics page to include the points each topic will give you when you speak to Volkner
Alongside this, a new Poké Fair Scout is now live allowing you to get the sync pair of Cynthia & Garchomp. This runs until February 1st 2024
