Battles for the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Terastal Cresdcendo event have begun. This competition is a Double Battle competition where you send 2 Pokémon only into battle, one of which has to be Koraidon or Miraidon
Battles run from 00:00 UTC on October 10th to 23:59 UTC on October 12th.
This competition gives 300 Dragon Tera Shards, 300 Fighting Tera Shards, 300 Electric Tera Shards and a Master Ball to all players who complete 1 or more battle

The Pokémon GO Weekly Challenges feature has been officially announced. Starting on October 13th at 01:00 UTC, the Weekly Challenge feature goes live. A social tab will appear where you can join with other players in a group to complete the weekly challenge. You can only do one per week and be in one group at a time. The challenge rotates at 00:00 UTC every Monday
With this, you can join with friends from around the world to participate and complete the challenges.
When your group completesd a challenge you get more friendship level progress, 20,000 Experience and 6,000 Stardust
Matchmaking for Weekly Challenges will come later in the year

It has been confirmed that the first batch of episodes of the third season of Pokémon Horizons, titled Rising Hope, will be available on Netflix in the US and other territories on January 6th 2026. Scopely have announced the next Pokémon GO Max Battle Day will run on November 1st from 14:00 to 17:00 local time which focuses on the Pokémon Garbodor, adding its Gigantamax form to the game
During the event, Max Particle limit will be increased to 1600 and you'll get 8* Max Particles from Power Spots. You'll also get 2* Max Particles from Exploring and 1/4 Adventure Distance to get it
There will be free Timed Research to get Candy, Max Particles and a Dynamax Drilbur. It will be available from October 27th at 18:00 local time
There will be paid ticket to give Timed Research for 1 Max Mushroom and 25,000 Experience, as well as 2* Max Battle Experience and a Max Particle Collection Limit of 5600

The next Pokémon GO event has been announced. This is the Halloween 2025 Part 2 event and is due to run from October 27th at 10:00 to November 3rd at 20:00 local time and adds costume Teddiura & Noibat into the game
Teddiura & Noibat in the costumes will be able to evolve
On October 31st, costume Pokémon will have a chance of dropping a Rare Candy or Rare Candy XL when caught in a Nice Throw or better
You will have increased chance of catching Shiny costume Pokémon from raids
Costume Pokémon including Teddiursa and Noibat will spawn in the wild. You will have a higher chance of getting shiny Teddiursa & Noibat
Pikachu in a costume, Piplup in a costume, Sinistea and Poltchageist will be in 1 Star Raids
Gengar in a costume and Drifblim in a costume will be in 3 star raids

If you pay for the Deluxe pass, you will get more encounters, Candy Xl, Rare Candy XL, Premium Battle Passes and a special teatime pose

Gamestop have confirmed that there is a restock of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Shiny Koraidon & Miraidon codes at stores across the US starting today. Unlike the code cards at the start of the event, these are printed on receipts but there is said to be a per-store limit.
In addition to this, EB Games in Canada has also confirmed that a restock of codes is coming.
These codes are available until October 15th 2025 while supplies last

The "Perrin's Photo Requests" Event has begun a run in Pokémon Masters EX. This event features special missions giving rewards based on taking photos with various sync pairs, with new tasks coming each day. It runs until October 18th 2025.

Pokémon GO - Raid Day
The newest Mega Evolution focused Raid Day is rolling out in Pokémon GO. For three hours in each region, Mega Metagross will appear in Raids on each Gym in the area, adding Mega Metagross into the game.
With this, you will get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms and can participate in up to 20 Remote Raid a day. You will also have a higher chance of finding shiny Metagross after completion of the raid.
A paid ticket is also available that gives increased experience as well as another 8 additional free Raid Passes from Gyms.
It runs from 2pm to 5pm in your local time.

The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the Mighty Roaring Moon and Mighty Iron Valiant event. This event has Roaring Moon appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Dragon Tera Type in Pokémon Scarlet and Iron Valiant appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Fairy Tera Type in Pokémon Violet. As with all past 7 Star Raid events, players can only catch one of each of these Pokémon from raids per save file
Alongside this, all prior Paradox Pokémon are available in 5 Star Raids in their respective games.
This event runs until October 12th 2025 at 23:59 UTC

Another new location has been announced for the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Shiny Koraidon & Miraidon distribution.
First, in Brazil, the codes will be given at the Brasil Game Show in Sao Paolo at the Nintendo booth from October 9th through 12th. Gregorio Games is also carrying codes
In Zurich, Switzerland, the codes will be available at Softridge stores throughout the country from now until October 15th 2025. Like other countries in Europe you need to show your home menu on the Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 to receive a code
In the Netherlands, you'll be able to get codes at Intertoys stores.

To get this, you need to take your Nintendo Switch to the store to show you have the game. If you don't, you can redeem them in Pokémon HOME. With the Pokémon HOME distribution, you will receive Fidough directly into Pokémon HOME but for Audino you will receive a Wonder Card with a serial code to redeem in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

The next Pokémon GO event has been announced. This is the Pokémon Legends: Z-A Celebration Event event and is due to run from October 16th at 10:00 to October 20th at 20:00 local time
During this event, Mega Raids will appear more frequently
There will be Timed Research that branches to give encounters with Chikorita, Totodile or Tepig with the seasonal background. The Pokémon you choose then will spawn more on Daily Adventure Incense
During the event, Meganium will know Frenzy Plant, Croconaw will know Hydro Cannon and Emboar will know Blast Burn
Lumiose City Outfits will also be available for free for all players

The next Pokémon GO Raid Day has been announced. It will run on October 18th 2025 from 14:00 to 17:00 local time, focused on the Pokémon Mega Rayquaza
Players will get up to 5 more additional Raid Passes from PokéStops and an Event ticket will be live for 8 more Raid Passes, 50% more experience, 2* more Stardust and more Rare Candy XL

Pokémon Masters EX - Story Event
As part of the "Perrin and the Diamond Clan" Story Event in Pokémon Masters EX, a new EX Fair Scout is available to get the Sync Pair of Mai & Munchlax, adding them to the game

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet - Ranked Battle Season 35
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Ranked Battle Season 35 has begun. This season features the second season of the Regulation J format which allows for you to use 2 Restricted Legendary Pokémon per team including Mythical Pokémon for the first time. This season will run until October 31st at 23:59 UTC
Alongside this, as Season 34 is now over, the rewards are able to be collected for all players

It has been confirmed that Pokémon GO is to add Gigantamax Grimmsnarl to the game in the Pokémon GO Wild Area events. In both the local event in Nagasaki and the global event next month, Grimmsnarl will be available in 6 Star Max Battles. There will also be Special Research in both events that includes an encounter with Gigantamax Grimmsnarl

The Pokémon GO Pass: September has been announced. This will run from October 7th through November 4th 2025. As before, a free track is available for all players who gain access, or you can purchase to get even more rewards
The Pass will include encounters with Pokémon like Terrakion, as well as Stardust, Candy, Poké Balls, and if you purchase then you'll get additional encounters and premium items. This month the pass will offer PokéCoins: 400 for free track and an additional 1000 on the paid track
At Rank 25 you will be able to open 40 gifts a day, receive up to 125 gifts a day and hold up to 30 gifts in your bag. If you get the Deluxe pass, you will be able to open 50 a day, receive up to 150 a day from PokéStops and Gyms and hold up to 40 in your bag
At Rank 50 you will get 2* Daily Adventure Incense duration
At Rank 75 you will get 2* Stardust & Experience from Eggs

Pokémon x Natural History Museum
Tickets are now available for the Pokémon x Natural History Museum pop-up shop that will run from January 26th through March 22nd. This pop-up shop will feature unique Pokémon merchandise such as clothing and stationery alongside a special plush. Priority sign-ups are going out now with general public tickets being released later today. It is not a Pokémon Center and there's no Pokémon TCG on sale

Pokémon TCG Pocket has started its new monthly run of Subscription Missions for players with the paid subscription. With this, the shop has updated with new Coins, Playmats, Sleeves, Display Boards & Binders featuring Lillie
Alongside this, a new mission is live that will give players with the subscription the Entei ex Promo

A new trainer has been added to Pokémon Masters EX's Trainer Lodge. From now on, if you have obtained Piers & Obstagoon already, you have the ability to invite them into the Trainer Lodge to befriend. If you get the Friendship Level to 100, you will now be able to get the new Sync Pair, Piers & Skuntank. We have updated our Trainer Lodge Topics page to include the points each topic will give you when you speak to Piers
Alongside this, a new Poké Fair Scout is now live allowing you to get the sync pair of Cynthia & Garchomp. This runs until November 1st 2025

The latest Pokémon TCG Pocket Ranked Match season, Season A4b is now live. This is the seventh Ranked Match season where you work up the ranks by winning in battles against random players online. After the season ends, you will get Emblems based on your position. This season runs until October 27th 2025
