First, there will be a special Challenge Card that will have you complete tasks. If you complete the Collection Challenge, you will receive the outfit Pikachu (Detective)
There will also be login stamps to log in for 10 days to get 3,000 Golden Acorns and various Tarts.

From October 5th, Timed Research will appear to celebrate Guzzlord's return to 5 Star Raids providing 3 Premium Battle Passes and more
On October 12th, new Timed Research arrives in time for the Harvest Festival including One Mossy Lure and encounters with Large Size & Super Size Pumpkaboo
From October 19th for Halloween Event Part 1 you'll get Timed Research which features two incubators and encounters with Phantump

Ahead of the final piece of artwork that will be released later today, a schedule has been put out for the first four music videos for Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project Voltage 18 Types 18 Songs. These are to be different to the artwork which has been released so far and will release weekly starting on September 29th 2023.

Ahead of its opening tomorrow in Amsterdam, The Pokémon Company International have put out details of the Vincent Van Gogh Museum collaboration that was revealed earlier this month
At the museum itself, there will be several different things related to Pokémon
First is the Pokémon at the Van Gogh Museum collection which will be available on Floor 1 of the Rietveld Building. This features six pieces of artwork featuring Pokémon twists on some of the more iconic artworks including a Pikachu shown akin to the Self-portarit with Grey Felt Hat, Sunflora in the Sunflowers and Snorlax & Munchlax relaxing in The Bedroom
There will be a Pokémon Adventure activity where visitors can learn about the inspiration of the artworks. When completed, visitors will be able to get a special Pikachu x Van Gogh Museum promo card
There will be online learning material to teach children about the connections between Van Gogh and Japan
There will be a guided video activity on how to draw Pikachu
Finally, there will be an exclusive range of the Pokémon x Van Gogh Museum merchandise available on the Pokémon Center website. This includes a Van Gogh inspired Pikachu plush, TCG sleeves, figures of Pikachu and Eevee, Posters, a Jigsaw puzzle and more. So if you get a Sleep Score of 100, Pokémon in the box will restore 5%. If you use the Incense, then this will be doubled to 10%.

With this, they will implement some changes including alllowing Pokémon in bixes to recover energy while you sleep, changes to gift Diamonds when you link your account, changes to fonts for other languages and changes to allow users to navigate to their bag from the gift box screen
There will also be bug fixes including ones where the natures aren't displayed and multiple messages sent to friends accidentally
They have also confirmed that in the future, beyond this update, they will adjust the amount of Candy you receive when people in the Research Community share photos, scaled based on your friendship level with the person

The coming special product, Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic has been confirmed to release on November 17th 2023 with pre-orders being available on Pokémon Center US, Canada and UK now live. Other countries and stores will have it available
This product is a high end version of the Pokémon TCG with many cards, both old and new, combined together to make special decks. it retails for Ł399/$399 and contains a variety of new and classic cards including a Mr. Mime that never released outside of Japan
This product includes a toolbox, damage counters and Special Condition Markers, sleeves and deckboxes and more.

The Pokémon Company have announced this year's TCG Illustration contest and this year it will run for US, Japan, UK, Canada, Australia & New Zealand Entry is from October 12th through January 31st 2024 and the Grand Prize and first runner up in Japan and in US will all have their artwork on a Pokémon promo card, as well as a cash reward. This year's theme is on "Magical Pokémon Moments" with the Pokémon in question being Charizard, Pikachu, Eevee, Feraligatr, Melmetal, Bidoof, Absol, Flygon, Amped Form Toxtricity or Koraidon. Ahead of its release shortly, we have details on the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet 2.0.1 patch notes containing the details of what they have changed
First the patch will add a variety of returning and new Pokémon that all players will be able to trade, transfer and battle with regardless of if they bought the DLC
The top direction in the minimap can be set to always fix north by pressing the Right Stick twice on the map screen
Camera related settings have been added to the Settings to adjust the field camera
You can now signal Pokémon walking on the field by pushing the L stick to stop them moving and photos can be taken with the A button. You can also play music with ZL/ZR in the camera app and share photos
With the TM Machines at Pokémon Centers, you can add a filter to only display TMs that your Pokémon can learn
Bug fixes have been made including correction of the text for Dire Claw, Stone Axe and Ceaseless Edge mentioning Critical Hits

Following the announcement of Regulation E's ruleset and timeframe earlier this month, The Pokémon Company have adjusted the initial posts on the official websites and in the game to state that Regulation E will last from October 1st 2023 through to January 1st 2024, as opposed to the two month schedule previously stated. This follows from the discrepency between the in-game news and Pokémon HOME.
This ruleset will allow for you to use Pokémon introduced and returning in The Teal Mask DLC

This set is due for release in Japan on October 27th and will be released in English as Paradox Rift in November

The Pokémon Company International have given a release timing for the coming DLC, The Teal Mask. This DLC will release as a patch in the morning of September 13th in Japan, indicating very early hours of morning for Europe and late night September 12th for the Americas. Niantic have detailed the coming Oddish Research Day which takes place on September 17th from 2pm to 5pm local time. During this event, Oddish will appear through Field Research Encounters at PokéStops
In addition to this, there will be 2* Catch Stardust, Oddish may drop a Sun Stone, there's an increased chance of finding Shiny Oddish and an increased chance of finding XXL or XXS Oddish
Paras, Venonat, bellsprout, Shroomish, Roselia, Cacnea, Foongus and Bounsweet will spawn in the wild

As part of their periodic highlight of a specific species of Pokémon, today Oddish became the focus and with this a variety of Oddish related activites were revealed. This includes a special short animation for Oddish as well as reconfirmation of the Oddish Limited Research Day in Pokémon GO on September 17th
In addition to that, as Oddish was a focal character in the recent anime series Path to the Peak, a special promotional card will be released at a later point based on the Oddish seen in that series. Currently the details on how to get this card have yet to be revealed

It has been confirmed that, at 17:00 UTC on September 20th 2023, the mobile app, Pokémon TCG Card Dex, which allowed for players to scan and check off their card collections. No further sets will be added to it and its services will be fully deactivated and data removed from servers.
This is due to the decision to dedicate resources to Pokémon TCG Live to make sure the best experience is being given

The fourth wave of the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Hidden Treasure of Area Zero icons is now live for Nintendo Switch Online Subscribers. The "Stop the Evil Mastermind" Event has begun in Pokémon Masters EX. This event is a special co-op event where you can face off against Giovanni and his team, tying in to the Villain Arc. It runs until September 16th 2023.

Some new previews were released for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's The Teal Mask DLC from outlets in Japan. These include some further details expanding on elements revealed recently but also confirm some new TMs are in the game. Famitsu notes that the moves Grassy Glide, Burning Jealousy, Lash Out and Poltergeist were seen as well as Toxic.
It also confirms that more clothing, hairstyles and picnic supplies will be available at the Kitakami Center, and you can even now rearrange chairs at the picnic table.
In addition to Mochi when completing the Ogre Oustin’ mini-game where you pop balloons, you can also get Tera Shards. There are three difficulties: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced and you can play with other players to complete it
There was also new items including the EXP Charm's return.
When your Pokémon pose for a photo when you have the Roto Stick, you can also select a song which will cause your Pokémon to react. You can also share photos among friends when connected via a Union Circle

Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project Voltage 18 Types 18 Songs
The first of the special artworks for the Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku - Project Voltage collaboration has been released. This artwork will come every weekday for the next two and a half weeks and feature concepts of What if Hatsune Miku was a Pokémon Trainer. There are 18 artworks by 6 different artists being released. The first focuses on Psychic-type and is done by take, one of the human character designers for Pokémon and includes both standard artwork and a Settei Sheet

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day on September 23rd will focus on Grubbin. This event will 3* Catch Experience, 2* Catch Candy and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
There will be Timed Research to get a Magnetic Lure Module
It will also give out the move Volt Switch to Vikavolt. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research "Plugging Along".
The Community Day runs at 2pm to 5pm in each local time zone

The next Pokémon GO event is starting to roll out in Asia Pacific regions. This event is the "A Paldean Adventure" event and features a celebration including the introduction of Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly and Lechonk into the games, with Shiny Lechonk also appearing. It runs from 10:00 local time on September 5th to 10:00 local time on September 10th
We are currently compiling details of this event, including the Special Research which will run all season, in our A Paldean Adventure event section
In addition to this, with this event, the Paldea Starters can now be in Great Balls and Ultra Balls in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet if you transfer them through Pokémon HOME and breed them

Pokémon Masters EX - Villain Arc
The final stages of the final Chapter of the Pokémon Masters EX Villain Arc has begun. This iconcludes the story built over the last two years of Giovanni trying to control all the other teams to unleash his power on Pasio, with Paulo deciding to build a team to stop him.
Alongside this, a special Poké Fair Scout is now live to get the Sync Pairs of Paulo & Lycanroc & Tina & Flareon. It runs for a month until October 4th 2023
You can also change the style of the Trainer Lodge to Team Rocket style after completion of the Story

Pokémon Sleep
The next update for Pokémon Sleep has been announced. This is version 1.0.7 and comes with a variety of fixes. First, you can now use multiple Dream Shards at once rather than one at a time. You can also go straight to the bag screen when you try to receive mission rewards when your bag is full.
There is also a fix where the Pokémon's energy may appear over 100 and a bug where the Helper Pikachu may not give you a higher reward amount despite being at a higher level and a bug where if you do research with the GO Plus + after moving to a new island and cooking, the Sleep Research wouldn't match the energy

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Ranked Battle Regulation E has been officially announced. This Regulation Ruleset will run from October 1st 2023 through to November 30th 2023 and adds the ability to use any Pokémon available in Scarlet & Violet including the Pokémon added in The Teal Mask. This includes Pokémon transferred through Pokémon HOME. A full list of available Pokémon will be given at a later date but Restricted Legendary Pokémon and Mythical Pokémon are still unable to be used

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Ranked Battle Season 10 has begun. This season is the third and final that runs Regulation D's ruleset which added transferred Pokémon to the usable Pokémon roster. This season will run until September 30th 2023 at 23:59 UTC
Alongside this, as Season 9 is now over, the rewards are able to be collected for all players
