Following the delay from when it was due to begin earlier this month, EB Games stores in Australia and New Zealandare now starting to give out the codes for the Shiny Eternatus for Pokémon Sword & Shield. This distribution will run while stocks last. The European release of this distribution will begin tomorrow

Further details have been released for the Pokémon Art Through the Ages celebration in Manchester that was announced yesterday. Throughoutout the Trafford Centre, people will be able to find hidden art of the Kanto Pokémon showcasing a variety of art techniques and styles from cave paintings to stained glass and oil paintings
People who go to GAME at the Trafford Centre can get a double sided poster. There will also be activities withibn a booklet to complete including a certificate for finding all 151 Pokémon throughout the Trafford Centre
There will ber special art workshops for children aged 6 to 11 and you can meet Pikachu at scheduled times and watch Pokémon movies or anime at the Orient Main Stage Area.
The Pokémon Bus will also be available for photo opportunities on October 17th only

We have an update for the Shiny Eternatus distribution in Australia & New Zealand. Although the official notes say the event was to start yesterday, EB Games stores have yet to receive the codes. EB Games say that the codes should arrive late September to early October. We'll provide full details on this, and other international distributions, as they come so be sure to keep checking back

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day on October 15th will focus on Litwick. This event will 3* Catch Experience, 2* Catch Candy and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
It will also give out the move Poltergeist to Chandelure. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research "Field Notes: Trick of the Light".
The Community Day runs at 2pm to 5pm in each local time zone with Lampent raids following from 5pm to 10pm which, if defeated, will cause Litwick to spawn around the Gym

The Pokémon GO Community Day is rolling out globally. For three hours in each region, Roggenrola will appear, enmass, in Pokémon GO with a chance of Shiny Roggenrola appearing. During this event, when you evolve Boldore into Gigalith, it will know the move Meteor Beam, which is exclusive to this event. This coincides with 25% Hatch Ditance, 2* Catch Experience, 2* Catch Candy, 3 hour Incense and more. This runs at these times:
It runs from 2pm to 5pm in your local time.
Following the event, Boldore will appear in raid battles and, if defeated, will cause Roggenrola to spawn within 300 metres of the Gym

Pokémon World Championships
Some details for the Pokémon World Championships and the 2023 Championship Series have come. First, it confirms that following this year's 4 day event, next year's event at Yokohama, Japan, returns to being 3 days. Players can earn an invite in Scarlet & Violet, TCG, GO or UNITE to play on Day 1, with the top players for VGC and TCG able to get a skip to Day 2. The VGC CP requirements will be added at a later date. GO players who come Top 2 in Regionals will get an invite, while Top 4 in Internationals get an invite. TCG players need 500 Championship Points in US & Canada, 350 in Europe, or 250 in Latin America, Oceania and Middle East to qualify for Day 1. The Top 16 in US, 22 in Europe, 12 in Latin America, 4 in Oceania and 2 in Middle East & South Africa will get a Day 2 invite. Japan, South Korea and Asia Pacific regions will determine invitations from their own circuits

Armarouge is a Fire/Psychic-type. It is exclusive to Scarlet and knows the move Armor Cannon which lowers its own Defense and Sp. Defense when used
Ceruledge is a Fire/Ghost-type. It is exclusive to Violet and knows the move Bitter Blade that restores the user's HP by up to 50% of the damage inflicted
Klawf is a Rock-type Pokémon. Its Ability lowers its Defense and Sp. Def but boosts Attack, Sp. Atk and Speed when its HP is 50% or less
There are three stories
Victory Road: Players will go to Gyms in different locations to achieve Champion Rank.
Path of Legends: Upperclassmen Arven will join the player in search of rare ingredients called Herba Mystica which are guarded by Titan Pokémon, which are bigger than ordinary Pokémon.
Starfall Street: Players will challenge Team Star, a group of delinquents causing trouble for the school.

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day on September 18th will focus on Roggenrola. This event will 25& Hatch Distance, 2* Catch Candy and double the chance to get XL Candy as well as 3 hours Incense and Lure Modules.
From 5pm to 10pm, Boldore will appear in raids and if successfully completed, Roggenrola will appear around the Gym for 30 minutes
It will also give out the move Meteor Beam to Gigalith. You will be able to purchase a ticket to receive Special Research "Field Notes: Rock ‘n’ Roll".
The Community Day runs at 2pm to 5pm in each local time zone

It's also generating electricity. It carries electrically roasted seeds with it as if they're precious treasures. No matter how much it eats, it always gets hungry again in short order. Intense hunger drives it to extremes of violence, and the electricity in its cheek sacs has converted into a Dark-type energy. Hunger hormones affect its temperament. First, the Pokémon Mew is now available to obtain through special event missions. We're currently compiling full details for Mew in our Pokémon section for the game.
A brand new stage is now available, taking over Standard and Ranked Battles. This stage is Theia Sky Ruins and features a ruins look with the addition of many new Pokémon to face including Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Regieleki and Rayquaza. We've added full details to our section
A new Battle Pass has begun. This Battle Pass is known as "Elegant Style Mew" and offers the Holowear of Wanderer Style Azumarill and Elegant Style Mew, as well as various clothing items matching the theme of the Pass
New Boost Emblems have become available bringing all Kanto Pokémon into Emblems

Pokémon Sword & Shield - VGC Ruleset
Ranked Battle Series 13/Season 34 is now live. This ruleset is a unique one in being the first Ranked Battle season ever to include Mythical Pokémon, allowing them and other Restricted Legendary Pokémon with no limits to numbers. This season will run from September 1st at 04:00 UTC to September 30th at 23:59 UTC. Be sure to check out our section for full details and Pokémon restrictions.
With this, the thirty-third season of Pokémon Sword & Shield's Ranked Battle has come to an end and with it, the rewards for participation in battles is now live. To get them, you need to check your ranking in the Ranked Battle mode and then go to Mystery Gift > Receive via Battle Stadium. These rewards include BP and items range from Armorite Ore up to Bottle Caps depending upon your placement.

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is the Psychic Spectacular event and is due to run from September 6th at 10:00 to September 12th at 20:00 local time and introduces Mega Alakazam and Shiny Elgyem into the game
Alakazam will know the move Psychic when caught or evolved during this event
Abra, Slowpoke, Drowzee, Natu, Ralts, Spoink, Munna, Woobat, Gothia, Solosis and Elgyem will spawn in the wild
Unown E, P S and Espurr will be in 1 Star Raids. Unown cannot be Shiny
Alolan Raichu, Wobbuffet, Girafarig and Oranguru will be in 3 Star Raids
Mega Alakazam will be in Mega Raids
Smoochum, Wynaut and Chingling will be in 7km Eggs
Baltoy, Chimecho, Elgyem and Hypno will be in Field Research tasks
There will be Timed Research focused on Curveball Throws through the event which also includes multiple encounters with Elgyem
In the Deoxys Raid Day, all forms will be available in raids with increased chance of them being Shiny and players can get up to 5 additional Daily Raid Passes
