Biography

Cilan is one of the Gym Leaders of Striaton City Gym. In addition to the Gym Leader duties, he is also a Pokémon Sommeliar and is capable of seeing the compatibility and closeness between Pokémon and their trainers. After his defeat at the hands of Ash, he decided to join Ash & Iris on their journey throughout the region of Unova. He has two brothers, Chili and Cress

	Pansage Pansage is Cilan's star Pokémon and is often seen outside of its Pokéball with Cilan. It has powerful attacks such as Bullet Seed and SolarBeam which allowed it to hold its own in battle against Ash's Oshawott Obtained Prior to Episode: Triple Leaders, Team Threats
	Dwebble When Ash & Co. found Dwebble, they saw it making its own shell. However, it soon got attacked by three Dwebble and lost its shell. Fighting back to get its shell, it used many powerful attacks such as X-Scissor to defeat its foes. After it recovered its shell, it asked to join Cilan's team. Obtained Prior to Episode: A Home for Dwebble
	Stunfisk While trying to find some plants to heal the Pokémon, Ash got attacked by a Palpitoad which also ordered Stunfisk to attack. This Stunfisk kept Ash and Oshawott at bay with its powerful Thundershock and Mud Shot attacks, but Cilan managed to hook it with his fishwing rod, making it dizzy until it fainted. Cilan caught it soon afterwards Captured in episode: Palpitoad & Stunfisk! Battle at the Waterfront!
